The Montessori School of San Antonio enjoys a long tradition of philanthropic support from its community. Friends of the school, past and present parents, former students, and faculty and staff have contributed generously to one-time and ongoing efforts.
Support of The Montessori School falls in three categories:
The school’s annual fund, known as Love of Learning, bridges the gap between tuition revenue and the actual cost of providing a Montessori School education. Among other benefits, the Love of Learning provides for ambitious financial aid for deserving families and robust professional development for teachers.
One-time and in-kind gifts support special projects ranging from learning materials to construction and renovation. These gifts address targeted needs that advance the mission of The Montessori School. Recent examples are a new playground, classroom expansion, and educational technology.
The endowment fund is an invested sum of money to benefit The Montessori School in the future. As the endowment principle stays intact, interest from invested funds provides the school a predictable, stable income.
As we continue to build on 35 years of bringing out the best in children, we are grateful for the support of those who embrace Montessori education and believe in the school’s mission.
