Service Day
We’re honoring Earth Day with hands-on learning and service by partnering with Uprooted Gardens for a fun and meaningful morning of campus beautification!
Join us on Saturday, April 26 at 9:00 a.m. as we kick off the day with a warm welcome and a composting presentation by Liz and her team from Uprooted Gardens. Then, students, staff, and families will head to their designated areas to take on outdoor projects:
- Primary: Mulching, weeding, and gardening
- Lower Elementary: Sweeping and organizing patios and planters
- Upper Elementary: Cleaning out the shed, inflating balls, leveling the field, and soccer field cleanup
- Middle School: Rock pickup on the soccer field, nature trail pruning, and more leveling work
What to bring:
Dress in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, and don’t forget your hat, sunscreen, water bottle, and gardening gloves (if you have them)!
All MSSA students, families, and staff are welcome to join us! See you there!
