The Montessori School of San Antonio was founded as the Judson School – a Montessori Workshop in 1974. From there it has grown to include Primary, Elementary, and Middle School Montessori programs. The MSSA campus is a secure 24-acre parcel at the intersection of Loop 1604 and Rogers Ranch Parkway in far North-Central San Antonio with a surrounding environment designed specifically to meet the learning criteria set out by Dr. Maria Montessori.

MSSA works hard to maintain a wonderful learning environment where grace and courtesy are always paramount. The education is challenging, yet manageable, and it allows students to have a very subtle transition when moving on to a higher grade-level."

Projects ranged from artificial intelligence to the physics of air pressure and motion, giving students space to explore the questions that mattered most to them. 🎹🎶Open Music Jam turns UE recess into a space for musical discovery. Some students are writing their own songs with FLAT for Education, while others are trying out instruments, and some are even writing their own musical. 🏃♀️Our Fun Run committee is getting ready! Bundled in sweatshirts and beanies, our parent volunteers filled numerous bottles with colored powder. Before we know it, we will be gathered in our shorts and t-shirts waiting to begin the race. #MSSA #themontessorischoolofsanantonio #funrun #colorrun
