The Montessori School of San Antonio was founded as the Judson School – a Montessori Workshop in 1974. From there it has grown to include Primary, Elementary, and Middle School Montessori programs. The MSSA campus is a secure 24-acre parcel at the intersection of Loop 1604 and Rogers Ranch Parkway in far North-Central San Antonio with a surrounding environment designed specifically to meet the learning criteria set out by Dr. Maria Montessori.

MSSA works hard to maintain a wonderful learning environment where grace and courtesy are always paramount. The education is challenging, yet manageable, and it allows students to have a very subtle transition when moving on to a higher grade-level."

After reading Animal Farm (8th grade), and Esperanza Rising (7th grade), they used their voices and props to bring the characters to life. ⚽ The middle school soccer team battled fiercely until the final whistle, finishing regulation time in a hard-fought 1–1 draw. With everything on the line, the match moved to a penalty shootout. The pressure was on as players stepped up to the spot one by one. Our keeper stood tall, making two clutch saves to secure the 3–2 victory for the Jaguars. It was definitely an intense match from start to finish.
