Welcome to The Montessori School of San Antonio

Where children are guided to be passionate learners, independent thinkers, and engaged citizens.

The Montessori School of San Antonio was founded as the Judson School – a Montessori Workshop in 1974. From there it has grown to include Primary, Elementary, and Middle School Montessori programs. The MSSA campus is a secure 24-acre parcel at the intersection of Loop 1604 and Rogers Ranch Parkway in far North-Central San Antonio with a surrounding environment designed specifically to meet the learning criteria set out by Dr. Maria Montessori.

As a parent, I can confidently say that I could not have chosen a better community for my children and our family unit. MSSA works hard to maintain a wonderful learning environment where grace and courtesy are always paramount. The education is challenging, yet manageable, and it allows students to have a very subtle transition when moving on to a higher grade-level."

Academics at MSSA

With an active and experiential learning environment, the academic program at The Montessori School of San Antonio lays the foundation for children to become lifelong learners. Smaller class sizes allow for accommodating individual students and their personal learning styles. MSSA values all student’s unique strengths and guides them to become strong community members.

Ready to Enroll?

If The Montessori School of San Antonio sounds like the perfect learning environment come tour the campus. In addition to a tour, parents are allowed to sit in and observe a classroom so they can get a full experience of the day-to-day life at MSSA.

Real-World Skills for Real Life
At MSSA, Primary students develop independence in joyful ways, like slicing bananas 🍌 for a shared snack, learning that small acts prepare them for all that life brings.
✨Your donation to our Annual Fund supports moments like these, where everyday activities build confidence, care, and readiness for whatever lies ahead. Just as the spiral symbolizes continuous growth and progress, your generosity fuels the ongoing journey of discovery and achievement for every child at MSSA.
Keep our spiral growing, participate in the Annual Fund today. https://www.montessorisa.org/give/
