The Montessori School of San Antonio’s graduates are notably successful in their subsequent academic careers. They attend a variety of public, private, and magnet high schools. Beyond high school, graduates have attended outstanding colleges and universities.

Did you know that in Montessori classrooms, every part of speech has its own grammar symbol to spark curiosity? 🗻The noun is a large black triangle, representing a powerful mountain and the solid things in our world; 🔴the verb takes the shape of a red circle, symbolizing lively action and movement; and the 🔼adjective is marked as a medium blue triangle, shining light on the beautiful descriptions we use. Montessori Grammar Symbols turn parts of speech into a colorful, tangible experience! As students identify nouns, verbs, and adjectives, they develop a mastery of grammar, a love of words, and the confidence to experiment with complex writing. #MSSA #themontessorischoolofsanantonio #montessori #montessorischool ... Last week, our students dove into a world of cultural discovery! Several classrooms learned more about the Día de los Muertos and the altars created to commemorate the lives of loved ones. Others explored the meaning of Diwali and even created vibrant sidewalk art in honor of the holiday. Thank you, parents and guests, for sharing a piece of your life with us. #themontessorischoolofsanantonio #MSSA ... See MoreSee Less

🍎Over the past few weeks, Ms. Lisa's Primary class enjoyed tasty baked apples as a snack. Here's the awesome part: they prepared the dish for themselves.❤️ They started by cutting two apple slices into smaller pieces, added a pat of butter, and sprinkled cinnamon to their liking. After the apples had baked, each child enjoyed a special snack prepared 💯% by them. By preparing their own snack, the students gain practice in following steps, making choices, and taking pride in their work. 🍎Experiences like this nurture self-reliance and joy, laying a strong foundation for future learning. #themontessorischoolofsanantonio #MSSA #bakedapples #montessori ...
