Covid Updates
"Stay Home" Symptoms
If your child has any combination of the symptoms below that are consistent with COVID-19 they must stay home and contact Nurse Kimberly:
- Fever
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Chills
- Muscle Pain
- Headache
- Sore Throat
- Loss of taste or smell
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Fatigue
- Congestion or runny nose
- Known contact with COVID-19 illness
Protocol
In the event your child has tested positive or exhibits symptoms for COVID-19, in order to return to school:
- A child must be fever-free for 24 hours without fever reducing medications
- 5 calendar days must have passed since COVID-19 diagnosis
- Symptoms have improved (cough, breathing, etc.)
In the event a child exhibits COVID-19 symptoms while at school:
The child will be separated from other children
Family will be notified
The child must be picked up within an hour
Children may return to campus once the above criteria for returning to school are met
In the event that your child has been exposed to COVID-19 they can return to school once the following has been met:

If unvaccinated- Child must quarantine for 5 days from date of exposure AND One COVID-19 test performed with a negative result
- If vaccinated- may return to school and monitor for symptoms, with COVID-19 test on day 5 from exposure.
