Before & After School Child Care

MSSA Childcare

Our Childcare program’s environment reflects the Montessori approach and sense of order. Activities include grace and courtesy lessons, food preparation, arts and crafts, blocks, puzzles and manipulatives, games, books, music. The day is scheduled with both indoor and outdoor quiet and active times of play. Children are placed in multi-age groups coinciding with the Montessori environment.

Before-School Child Care

  • Hours are 7:00 AM to 7:50 AM
  • A fee of $8.00 per day
  • Drop off in the Gym

After-School Child Care

  • Hours are 11:45 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Fees: Primary Half-Day students 11:45 AM -3:15 PM $31.00 per day; (after 3:15 PM $52.00 per day)
  • All other students: 3:15 PM - 6:00 PM $31.00 per day
  • Late Pick-Up Fee (After 6:00 PM) $35 during the first 15-minute increment plus $3.00 per minute thereafter

  • Early Arrival Program

    • 7:00 – 8:00 am  |  $8.00

  • Primary Half Day Students

    • Students picked up prior to or at regular dismissal  |  $31.00
    • Students picked up after regular dismissal  |  $52.00

  • All Other Students

    • $31.00

  • Late Pickup fee - applies after 6:00 pm

    • $35.00during the first 15 minute period plus $3.00 per minute thereafter

  • Maximum Monthly Charge Per Student

    • Primary Half Day Student $800.00
    • All Other Students $475.00

How do I sign my child up for Before/After-school Care?

  1. Download the SchoolPass App
  2. Press the (+) then Activity
    (After-school Program-Before/After-school Care)
  3. Choose your specific date or recurring dates.
  4. Press Submit

Notes

  • Regular dismissal is 3:15 pm, except on Wednesday which is at 2:15 pm.
  • Entry and Exit times for the After School Program will be
    electronically recorded.
  • Usage data will interface with FACTS where a charge for calendar month usage will be posted to the Family Account as an Incidental Charge. Payments will be electronically processed by FACTS on or about the 15th of each month following the month of usage.



  • ASC Pick-up will be similar to regular dismissal. Parents/approved drivers will be scanned in by the Security officer upon arrival and pull around to the main building. Drivers will remain in their cars. The SchoolPass app will then notify childcare staff. Students will be escorted to the front of the building and placed in their vehicles.
  • Please note: Primary half-day students in childcare can be picked up anytime up to 1 hour before regular dismissal. Those arriving during dismissal time will be asked to proceed to the carline.
